The Weekend

We had a full weekend of races, and some fantastic skiing, sunshine and smiles all around.
Yesterdays temperatures brought corn snow condition to the trails.

Today (Monday) the temperatures are a bit more seasonable - in the mid 20s.
Grooming is underway - the skiing is fast and wonderful, the Battell Forest and our Trails await you.

Snow, powder and more snow

We have been so busy skiing that we've not posted lately.  Our rental fleet has all seen fresh snow lately as has our brand new back country equipment.  All the trails at Rikert are ready for you to explore........
Send us your feedback, we'd love to hear about your trail experiences, see pictures and so on.
Off to eat and ski some more, see you out there,
Carrie

Trail Notes from 2/11/14

What another beautiful day at Rikert.  Temperatures in the mid-teens with no wind seemed perfect on this sunny day.  We experienced a special treat when we posed for a selfie; I looked up to see 2 deer crossing in front of us on the Frost trail.

The trails were nicely groomed as usual and the staff is always friendly and very accommodating.  Thanks to you and the entire staff for paying attention to detail with excellent service and maintaining a beautiful facility.

Best,

Dan and Diane

Oh what a day!

It is a stunning Saturday morning at Rikert.  The temperature is in the teens under blue skies.  People are gliding about on beautifully groomed trails.  Classic or skate, snowshoe or snow bike - it is the day to be out!

The wax for classic skiing:  green going - special blue - blue - and perhaps extra blue by the end of the day!

Our Bill Koch League will meet at 10 am for fun games and skiing.

A glorious morning at Rikert

The snow is great, people are gearing up to head out to the outer
trails, the groomers are running, and it is just fantastic skiing.
Our favorite outer trails finally have some snow to ski on! Hip, Hip,
Hooray!

Old man Winter has finally arrived.......

What a winter wonderland today! The staff was out and about on
Holland, to Frost Cabin and Rock Garden! The trails hadn't been
groomed yet so we had the best time playing in this fresh powder,
snowflakes on our noses and eyelashes, rooster tails following us the
whole time.
You must come join us!

The Weekend in Review

A beautiful weekend that left us with a little bit more snow than we started off with.
The skiing is great on our trails, especially on the Tormondsen Trail.

The outer trails are great for classic skiing, with more snow to come!
